Marilyn Rankin, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C

Marilyn is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Her healthcare journey began in the United States Navy, where she served for seven years as a Hospital Corpsman. This experience shaped her clinical foundation and gave her a deep respect for service, resilience, and compassionate care.

After completing her military service, Marilyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College in Ohio, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing through the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Simmons University. She later completed specialized training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Purdue University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

With over 22 years of experience in healthcare across a wide range of clinical settings, Marilyn takes a whole-person approach to mental health—recognizing how physical health, life experiences, and emotional well-being are deeply connected.

Her focus is on thoughtful, individualized care through both medication management and psychotherapy, with an emphasis on collaboration, education, and helping clients feel heard and supported.

Above all, she believes meaningful healing begins with feeling heard, understood, and safe. She views the therapeutic relationship as a partnership

“I will listen, I will take your concerns seriously, and I am committed to walking alongside you in your journey toward greater well-being.” - Marilyn
